Fiat 500 Door Wont Open From Outside

I spent over 1 hour trying to release my wife 2012 fiat 500 truck latch and discovered it should only take 5 min by accident.

Fiat 500 door wont open from outside. So i unlock and lock several times no luck. Also there wasn t that detent that i normally feel as the handle releases the door. Unlocked a few times. Just happened to me about 10 minutes ago.

I read a post on another fiat forum where this could be something that happens when it becomes very cold outside so going to try again when it warms up in a few days. All you need is a flat head scr. For those with a 500c an inoperable rear defrost and or a roof that won t open to preset positions with a single quick push or a trunk that will not open are signs that the roof needs to be reset.
